• Module 3 – Environment and Sustainability: Environmental Impact Assessment, Strategic Environmental Assessment, Biodiversity Net Gain and environmental risk.
• Module 4 – Professional Application and Liability: contract terms, professional liability, compliance with RICS Red Book standards, anti-money-laundering rules, recent case studies and a practical development-project application.

Across the programme you will work through the Land Compensation Act 1961 and the principle of equivalence, health and safety legislation of 1974, the Equality Act 2010 and disability requirements, the Building Act 1984 and Building Regulations 2010, enforcement and stop notices, and the use of BCIS data in planning and valuation.

You will complete an applied legal case study and a final exam of 20 multiple-choice questions, with a 75% pass mark.
