Detailed Policies

Read the full detail behind each of our compliance commitments. Expand any section below to review the specific requirements, standards, and responsibilities that apply to your CPD journey.

Learners are required to attend and actively participate in at least 80% of the scheduled sessions for each accredited course to remain eligible for certification and CPD credit. Attendance is recorded for every live session, and participation in discussions, exercises, and assessments is closely monitored. Where a learner is unable to meet the minimum threshold due to unforeseen circumstances, makeup sessions or recorded catch-up materials may be arranged upon request. All makeup requirements must be completed before a certificate can be issued.

To earn a CPD certificate, learners must complete all required modules, achieve a passing grade on any associated assessments, and satisfy the minimum attendance requirements for the course. Every certificate issued by ComfortCPD is mapped to recognised accreditation frameworks and independently verified against the standards of established professional bodies. Certificates display the number of CPD hours awarded, the accrediting reference, and a unique verification code. This ensures your qualification is credible, portable, and accepted by employers and regulators.

All learners are expected to conduct themselves with honesty, professionalism, and respect toward peers, facilitators, and staff at all times. Academic integrity is fundamental: work submitted for assessment must be your own, and plagiarism, collusion, or misrepresentation of any kind is strictly prohibited. Communication in discussions, forums, and live sessions must remain courteous and constructive, free from harassment or discriminatory language. Breaches of this code may result in warnings, removal from a course, or revocation of certification.

We collect only the personal information necessary to enrol you, deliver your courses, and issue verifiable certificates, in line with GDPR-style data protection principles. All learner data is stored securely using encryption and access controls, and is retained only for as long as required to support your certification and legal obligations. Your information is never sold, and it is shared with accrediting bodies solely to validate your CPD records. You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your data at any time by contacting our data protection team.

Maintaining accredited standing requires professionals to complete a minimum number of CPD hours each year, typically 30 to 40 hours depending on the framework and profession. Learners are responsible for tracking their accumulated hours through their ComfortCPD account and renewing qualifications before the annual deadline stated on their certificate. If a renewal deadline lapses, your accredited status may be temporarily suspended until the outstanding CPD hours are completed and verified. We recommend setting reminders and reviewing your CPD log regularly to avoid any interruption to your professional standing.
