Refund & Cancellation Policy

COMFORT-CPD Academy (operated by Comfort Valuation Assets S.A.E., Cairo, Egypt) sells digital products — online CPD courses, course bundles and downloadable eBooks (PDF) — and professional services. No physical goods are shipped, so there is nothing to return by post. This policy explains when you can cancel an order and when we issue refunds.

1. Cancelling an order

• Before access or download: you may cancel any course, bundle or eBook order for any reason within 14 days of purchase, provided you have not started the course, downloaded lesson materials or opened the eBook link. We refund in full.
• Unpaid orders (bank transfer or InstaPay not received) are cancelled automatically after 3 business days. Nothing is charged.
• Professional services: where an engagement letter or quotation has been signed, its terms apply. Otherwise, a service order cancelled before work or a site visit starts is refunded in full; after work has started, fees are charged for work completed and the balance is refunded.

2. Refund window — digital products

You may request a refund within 14 days of purchase in the following cases:

• Online courses: a full refund if you have not substantially accessed the course (no lessons completed, no materials downloaded, no assessment taken beyond an initial preview).
• eBooks (PDF): a full refund if the file has not been downloaded. Once downloaded, an eBook is non-refundable except where the file is defective.
• Bundles: treated as one purchase; a refund is available only while no course in the bundle has been substantially accessed.
• Duplicate or mistaken purchases: if you were charged twice, or bought the same item twice, we refund the duplicate charge in full at any time.

3. Defective or inaccessible products

If a course will not open, a download link fails, or a file is corrupted or materially different from its description, contact us and we will first fix the problem or resend the product. If we cannot resolve the issue within a reasonable time, we issue a full refund regardless of the 14-day window.

4. Completed courses and certificates

Once a course has been substantially completed, an assessment has been passed, or a certificate has been issued, the purchase is non-refundable.

5. EU / UK customers — 14-day cooling-off period

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content this right lapses once delivery has begun with your express consent (for example when you start a course or download an eBook), and you acknowledge that you thereby lose the right of withdrawal. Until that point you may cancel for any reason and receive a full refund.

6. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email khaled@comfortcpd.com from the email address used at checkout, quoting your order number and the reason. We review every request within 3 business days (Sunday to Thursday, 09:00–17:00 Cairo time).

7. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Your bank, card issuer or wallet provider may need additional time to post the credit.
