Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Collaborative Practice for Property Professionals: Build Property Teams That Perform Across Every Difference

Ask any senior valuer, project manager or asset manager in Egypt's property sector what finally decides whether a mandate succeeds, and the honest answer is rarely a formula. It is the team. Valuation engagements, inspections, development projects and asset-management portfolios are all delivered by groups of people with different backgrounds, disciplines, generations and working styles — and the professional who knows how to turn that difference into performance holds a genuine career advantage. That is exactly what the Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Collaborative Practice for Property Professionals programme from COMFORT-CPD Academy is built to teach.

What the programme covers

The programme is organised into four modules of ten training hours each, moving from principles to daily practice:

  • Module 1 — Foundations of Diversity and Inclusion: the real difference between diversity, equity and inclusion, inclusive communication, why inclusive environments matter, and how unconscious bias quietly distorts hiring, instructions and judgement.
  • Module 2 — Managing Teams and Collaborative Work: the practical toolkit of high-performing teams — the RACI responsibility matrix, Tuckman's stages of team development, Belbin team roles, Maslow's hierarchy applied to team motivation, team accountability and repairing miscommunication.
  • Module 3 — Compliance and International Standards: ISO 30415:2021 on diversity and inclusion, the EDGE certification programme, PAS 6463:2022, the Equality Act 2010 and its 2023 amendment, RICS policies on diversity and inclusion, and the legislation that governs how project teams are selected.
  • Module 4 — Practical Application and Corporate Strategy: strategic alliances, supply-chain management, applying DE&I principles inside live projects, real case studies, and preparing an organisational diversity plan you can actually implement.

Who it is for

The programme is designed for real-estate valuers, project managers, asset managers, HR teams in property and construction firms, executive leaders, and candidates preparing for RICS assessments and interviews, where diversity and inclusion is treated as a professional obligation rather than a slogan.

Professional value

Beyond a healthier workplace, the commercial case is direct: stronger team performance, more innovation, lower legal and reputational risk, and closer alignment with RICS rules of conduct. Assessment is practical — a project-team case-study analysis, an unconscious-bias scenario evaluation and a final 20-question exam with a 75% pass mark. Graduates receive an accredited digital certificate from COMFORT-CPD Academy, with CPD hours recorded toward the annual mandatory CPD log.

Enrolment

The full programme is available online for 2,500 EGP.
